1st Summer School

TEIDE_Klein.jpg For the help in logistics and input the VERTIGO Organisation team would like to thank the "Dipartimento della Protezione Civile" (DPC), Italy, the Protección Civil Islas Canarias, Spain, Richard Brown from Durham University, UK as well as Mike Branney from University of Leicester, UK.

 

The 1st VERTIGO Summer School will be held from Sunday March 8th (arrival and ice-breaker) to Saturday March 14 (departure after breakfast) 2015 at the Hotel VillAlba in Vilaflor, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The Summer School will focus on the physical processes governing volcanic activity. The scientific programme will be complemented by soft skill training for the Early Stage Researchers as well as by several field days at key outcrops. The workshop is open to all, though the number of participants will be limited. Registration is on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Participants registering for the whole week will have priority.
